I had a party and had something kind of amusing happen. As I was talking about the benefits having a quiet corner in your house, I let the hostess snuggle up in my Quiet Warmth blanket with a cup of hot cocoa while we listened to Quiet moments. She was a happy girl to say the least.
Before I knew it, one of the guests slid to her end of the couch and grabbed the corner of the blanket and stuck her feet in the pocket too! After my presentation was over and I was helping with each order, one of the other girls snagged the blanket from its place on my table and ran to the couch and got all snuggly in the blanket. “This is so cool….I have to have this.. ”She went on and on about the blanket and the CD playing. She ended up buying them both at the end of the party. It was funny to watch grown women fight over a blanket and snuggle together just to show one another how big it was and how nice it was too.

"I wanted to tell you how much I've loved your Quiet Places stuff I bought. The Holy Spirit devotional is great, lately it fits right in with our bible study. But what I'm really excited about is the Quiet Moments CD. I have been asking God to show me how to really worship him and pray to him. When I try to pray I just can't find the words. I've tried a lot of different methods and written liturgies, etc., but nothing seemed to work. Most seemed pretty stale. Well the thought came to mind (I wonder from who?) that I should just sit quietly and listen to that CD. Would you believe I started praying a song to the music?
